My Story

As a Story Driven Designer, lore and characters are at the heart of everything I create. My favorite parts of a themed environment are the little details which I translate into my work as a Set Decorator and Props Fabricator. I am passionate about telling stories through trinkets, knick-knacks and forgotten objects that are given new life in a themed environment. As an adaptable collaborator, I’m always willing to learn new skills, find solutions, and change course as discoveries are made, to bring engaging stories and immersive worlds to life.

With a bachelors in audio design and a robust education in creative writing, I bring a  jack-of-all-trades mentality to the table. Now focusing on set decoration in my masters, I have developed the unique ability to conceive an environment in three dimensions and consider all five senses as part of the Guest experience.

As I continue on my professional and educational journey, I am excited to bring my passion for storytelling through prop design to a greater audience in the themed experience industry. With an upcoming thesis on active vs passive set decoration in themed environments, I am eager to explore how to break the seal between Guest and location, while more authentically telling stories in this complex, immersive medium.
